WHOWE ARE
Established in 2010, Children of Sudan was set up after one of our founders was looking for opportunities to volunteer in Sudan. At the time, no international or local programmes were available, and the lack of opportunities inspired a conversation amongst friends to establish an avenue for volunteers to support existing charities in Sudan.
In the summer of 2010, the group spent four weeks connecting with local charities, and witnessed first-hand the challenges facing children in Sudan. This exposure allowed the group to gain a better understanding for the projects and the support they needed to continue their initiatives.
The group went on to establish partnerships with several charities, with the aim to raise funds from the UK to ensure projects were sustained.
With your support we will continue to grow our efforts through; funding new projects, establishing new charity partnerships, recruiting energetic volunteers, and organising fun and exciting community and fundraising events. Also, our new advocacy-based work will focus on highlighting the healthcare and educational rights for Sudanese children.

OUR VISION
We aim to improve the future of disadvantaged children in Sudan by providing them with welfare, safety, and support to ensure them a better quality of life.
OUR MISSION
The 'COS' charity will help provide children with an adequate standard of education, efficient healthcare, child sponsorship programmes and create youth projects for children all over Sudan regardless of their race, religion, or socio-economic background. This will be achieved in collaboration with grassroot charities on the ground in Sudan.
